SO HELPFUL!

I really loved this shirt. It was a lifesaver. I basically wore it the entire first week after my double mastectomy every day/night, and I continue to wear it now as well because it's super comfortable. The Velcro front was so helpful for taking it off/putting on so that I didn't require assistance. It was such a relief to feel like I could do something myself. The drain pockets inside were also super useful- I didn't have to worry about pulling on my drain cords all the time because they were safely tucked away in the drain pockets inside the shirt!

What are the purpose of drains?
Drains are used to pull fluid away from the wound site to prevent infection.

How long will I wear this?
We’ve found that most people continue to wear our products even after their drains are removed, due to their restricted arm movement and the ease of dressing. We wore ours for several months during reconstruction surgeries.

How do I care for the Drain Pocket Top?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. No bleach, softener, or frowning. Ensure Velcro is closed prior to washing!

TIP: Bring your DPT on the day of surgery so you can wear it home from the hospital
